Saying “I Do” With A Delicious Meal From Drexelbrook
Caitlin and Collin had their hearts set on The Carriage Barn at Liseter for their wedding day. Fortunately, they didn’t have to spend time searching for an offsite wedding catering company to feed their guests on their big day; Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center had them covered!
In addition to offering full wedding and event services at our expansive Drexel Hill location, Drexelbrook provides offsite wedding catering services at a number of venues throughout the area. After all, our award-winning chefs are known throughout the region for their culinary masterpieces and customizable menu options.
A Welcome Wagon Of Hors d’Oeuvres
After saying “I Do” at a nearby church, the couple and their guests were greeted at Liseter by our staff, who had arranged a selection of stationed and passed Hors d’Oeuvres to satisfy their cravings during cocktail hour. In addition to Cheese Steak Spring Rolls, Mini Brioche with Braised Short Rib & Brie Cheese, and Seared Sesame Tuna, Pickled Ginger, & Wasabi Cream on a Rice Cracker, guests also munched on an expansive Antipasti Station spread out across rustic wooden tables.
There were also plates of Grilled Bruschetta with Seasonal Toppings & Balsamic Drizzle, Bay Scallops wrapped with Pepper Bacon, Cucumber Cups with Sweet Chili Edamame & Roasted Peppers, and a Sliders Station complete with a choice of Meatballs or Smoky Pulled Pork.
The Perfect Main Course For Everyone
As cocktail hour wound down and guests made their way into the reception hall, they sat down at their seats to a Baby Field Greens Salad with Dried Cranberries, Crumbled Goat Cheese, and Seasonal Vinaigrette. The Entrée selection included a Tuscan Boneless Breast of Chicken pan-seared with Shallots, Garlic, & Rosemary & finished with a Lemon Champagne sauce, Grilled Center-Cut Filet Mignon with a Brandy Demi-Glace, and an Atlantic Salmon baked and stuffed with Crab Imperial & topped with Shallots, Garlic, Rosemary, and a Lemon Champagne Sauce.
We also offered a Gluten-Free meal, two delectable Vegetarian options: a Panko-Crusted Tofu Wedge, baked and topped with a Savory Mushroom Sauce over a bed of Sautéed Swiss Chard & Orzo, and Sweet & Savory Crepes fulled with Roasted Seasonal Vegetables & topped with a Wild Mushroom Pan Sauce.
A Sweet Ending To Every Event
Our work doesn’t end when the main course does. We love to pull out all of the stops when it comes to dessert, too!
As a sweet ending to Caitlin and Collin’s wedding day, we set up our Sweet Endings Station, where our chefs served Bananas Foster Flambé: warm Bananas flambéed with Rum and served over Hand-Spun Vanilla Bean Ice Cream topped with Whipped Cream. Guests loved the fact that this mouthwatering dessert was served in Chinese Take-Out boxes!
Our servers also butlered Mini Treats for guests to enjoy on their ride home, and passed out slices of a stunning wedding cake prepared by our friends at The Master’s Baker.
The entire Drexelbrook team had a blast preparing this menu and serving it to Caitlin, Collin, and their entire guest list. Congratulations to the happy couple, and best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness together!
