How many hours is a shower at Drexelbrook?
Baby Showers and Bridal Showers last for four hours.
How early can I come to set up my decorations?
You can set up 45 minutes prior to the shower.
Can I drop off materials prior to the event?
Yes – we prefer if you do – so all the work is done prior to the day of! Your Event Specialist will set up a time and day that is good for everyone.
Is there a minimum guest count?
Pricing for events vary depending on the month, day, and time. Contact your Event Specialist for more information on pricing.
What menu selections are most popular?
To have the luncheon menu, what is the latest time I can begin my event?
The latest start time for a luncheon menu is 1:30pm. A 2:00pm start time for a shower would be the dinner menu.
Can we customize our menu to include the guest of honor’s favorite meal?
Definitely! Drexelbrook can accommodate your guest of honor’s favorite foods into the menu. Anything can be created for you!
Can we bring our homemade baked goods or baked items from our favorite bakery?
Yes, feel free to bring in your family favorites, this is such a nice touch for your event. However, it cannot be a refrigerated dessert due to safety reasons.
Can we bring in additional food?
Unfortunately, Drexelbrook does not permit outside food (except baked dessert items) unless the event is Kosher or Indian.
Are there any particular specialty drinks that showers request?
Of course! Popular specialty drinks for showers include Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Champagne Punch. Everyone loves wine too!
What linens and centerpieces are included?
White and Ivory table linens are included along with a variety of color napkins. Feel free to pick two different napkins to add a bit of a flare to your table!
For your centerpieces, Drexelbrook provides a silver or gold charger plate with a votive candle.
Can I provide my own centerpieces?
Yes! Whatever you have envisioned for your guest of honor’s centerpieces can be brought in.
Is there coffee and tea service?
You have the option between a coffee and tea service or a coffee and tea station at no additional charge.
For a green shower, how do you make sure everyone’s gifts are viewed?
We utilize either clothed 8’ or 6’ tables, depending on how many gifts you have. We then let your guest know to place a name tag on the gift so everyone can easily view who sent which gift and receive their proper thank you.
